The 12 Days of Creepfest is a Horror and Dark Fantasy author's Blog Hop and Tour of today's Independent Writers and Publishers. Every participant has a contest, anything from free swag, Amazon gift cards, free e-books or signed hard copies. Check 'em out and have a Happy Creepfest!
Johanna Pitcairn is hosting a contest about her short story, Idle. You can win a guest blog spot or an interview on The Manicheans to promote your writing.
Born in France from a German mother and French father, Johanna always dreamt of writing since she was born, but her artistic aspirations slowly got replaced by more realistic ambitions. She started her legal studies at the University of Nice and graduated with a Masters in International Law in October 2005. In July 2006, she started her LL.M. at Hofstra Law School and soon graduated to become an attorney admitted in New York State in 2008. She moved to New York City where she currently works and resides. Her recent divorce triggered a need to write again, and she has been busy working on a science-fiction and urban fantasy trilogy since May 2010, The Manicheans. Johanna also blogs regularly and writes short stories, as well as participates as an active member of the Women's Literary Cafe hosted by bestselling author Melissa Foster and the Writers Collection featuring nine other exceptional authors blogging about a different theme every week.
Visit her blog at themanicheans.blogspot.com for contest details, like her Facebook page at facebook.com/themanicheans and FB friend request her at facebook.com/jkpauthor. I also have a short interview up on her blog this week, so check it out, please!
JCHemphill is featuring other authors on his site the entire month of December. Hop on by to discover some new books.
There are plenty of other places to visit, so get hopping! And don't forget today is the last day for my first Creepfest contest to win a signed copy of Deadlines: An Anthology of Horror and Dark Fiction by Comet Press.
